My Approach

Therapy is a safe space where you can examine your worries, fears, and traumas with the support of a trained professional. I specialize in supporting people in recovering from trauma, ranging from experiences of abuse, the traumatic death of a loved one, chronic medical illnesses, race and gender-based trauma, and sexual assault. The strength of the relationship that we build is the most significant factor to the overall success of therapy. Through time, my goal is for us to build a trusting connection where you experience a sense of safety.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is designed to shift unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns under the assumption that the way you perceive a situation informs your reactions and responses.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is designed to process traumatic memories and difficult experiences, bringing them to an adaptive resolution.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision provided for therapists building supervision hours towards their clinical license.

About me

  • slider-1
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with over 12 years experience as a therapist, I’ve trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Trauma-Focused, play therapy, and other therapy styles. My techniques are designed to teach you to talk back to and manage your worries and other upsetting thoughts, so that ultimately you can be your own therapist.
Outside of my office in Elkins Park, I am Executive Director of the Therapy Center of Philadelphia (TCP), a feminist organization that serves women, transgender, and non-binary people. I also serve as the Philadelphia Chair for the Coffee and Conversations Program of the Pennsylvania Society of Clinical Social Work (PSCSW). In my personal life, I'm a wife and a mother to two wonderful children.
